My condolence on your retirement from Apple
Copyright Vladimir Kagan, June 3, 2011
Dear Mr. Jobs,
I am very sorry that my recent letter caused you to be fired. (I realize “resigned” is a euphemism so as not to impinge on your bonus and retirement fund that you so justly deserve). You were kind enough spare the Federal Budget by not claiming unemployment insurance.
On the subject of Apple, I really truly love my Mac Book Pro. It and I are great friends and I have learned to manipulate all of the fine goodies that come with it. In fact, people marvel at my proficiency and come to me for help!
Your I-phone is a different animal. Yes, it has all the bells and whistles and the Apps are incredible… Its only problem is: it is smarter than me! It is NOT user friendly... Among other things, thumb typing is not my forté…I can’t catch up to its superior wisdom. It all too often confounds me; I just can’t make it do what I want.... (Thank God for granddaughters; ages three and up, who help me out of my predicaments.)
…Apple will not be the same without you, however, out of loyalty to you and Apple, I am not selling your stocks short!
Much happiness in your retirement and I wish you a speedy path to remission out of your health dilemma.
Sincerely,
Vladimir

I'm surprised Mr. Jobs managed to even stay until now, he has been sick for a long time.
Having a MacBook Pro myself i completely agree! It's userfriendly, reliable and pretty.
Apple is a huge corporation and the resignment of Mr. Jobs isn't sudden so i think they were well prepared for this.
As always, thank you Mr. Kagan for your amusing blogs and thank you even more for enriching our lives with some of the most beautiful furniture ever made
Sincerely,
Alderweireld Peter

To whom it may concern,
My name is Chantal Arias and I collaborate at México Design, an independent magazine focused on design and architecture. We have a quarterly frequency and a run of 36,000 copies per issue, with nationwide distribution in Mexico. We are currently putting together our issue number twenty two
In each issue we include a section titled “Focus”, which showcases a particular aspect of design; we provide ideas and recommend products for specific areas. In this issue, we will be presenting POOLS for home. A deep approach to the internal coatings, mosaics and their designs, materials, structural technologies, lighting, landscape, furniture and equipment among others, as well as full design solutions (photos of sets or actual spaces).
We are very interested in including photos of your product CAPRICORN TEA TABLE we only need high-resolution images with white background and basic information about the project.
You can send the images via YOU SEND IT, DROPBOX or any other internet server of your preference, because our own FTP server is in repair process. We need them as soon as possible please.
In the meantime, you can look at our website at www.mexicodesign.com.mx .
Looking forward to hear from you and please let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Chantal Arias

I was shocked actually to know that the genius of technology passed away. I always remember him with my laptop ( Mac Book Pro ) . This design reminds me of his greatness with regards to technology. May you Rest In Peace Mr. Job.
